The following is the schedule for shots and worming that we use at Janeway Ranch. Some vets may suggest a slightly different schedule, but it should be similar to this one. Different areas of the country may require shots for other diseases. You should always check with your vet to be sure. We recommend regular visits to a veterinarian for check-ups.

We have followed this schedule for all of our adults and for the puppies until they are picked up or delivered. None of our dogs have worms or any of the common canine diseases. And all of our puppies are very healthy when the buyer takes possession. However, if you have another schedule that you feel is better, please let us know. We are always looking for ways to keep our dogs healthy.
Remember this important rule: If you purchase a puppy, you must continue your maintenance schedule to ensure his or her health. The schedule you choose can be the one above, or one recommended by your vet.
* Nemex™ can be purchased at local feed stores or from your veterinarian.
** Only a certified veterinarian can sell heart worm medicine and administer rabies shots.
